The Original Soap Dish® is committed to contributing to a sustainable planet. We attempt to reduce our carbon footprint by taking steps to reduce our energy consumption, and by purchasing renewable energy certificates. In addition to recycling office supplies, and packaging many of our products in recyclable high density plastic, we no longer use non-degradable, petroleum-based packing peanuts to ship orders. We have switched to a renewable, biodegradable packing alternative, made from recycled cardboard. Our customers are able to help reduce our impact on the environment by reusing this material for their own shipping needs, recycling it in the nearest paper bin, or using it as kindling material or water-grabbing mulch at the bottom of flower pots.
